Join gallerist,  retail pioneer and president of Fondation Azzedine Alaïa in conversation with journalist and curator Alexander Fury for an exploration of the life and legacy of the influential designer.
 
Celebrating the life and career of the great designer Azzedine Alaïa, Carla Sozzani - one of his closest confidantes - discusses his incredible fashion legacy and their five decades of friendship as examined her new biography Carla Sozzani: Art, Life, Fashion by Louise Baring, published by Thames & Hudson. She will be joined in conversation with another friend, fashion journalist and curator Alexander Fury.

For the onsite audience, the discussion will be preceeded by a screening the intimate  documentary short Alaïa, by Joe McKenna; livestream viewers will join the talk following the screening.  If you would like to view the documentary before joining the livestream, it can be viewed on YouTube

The livestream will be on Zoom, and all ticketholders will receive a link to view the morning of the event, as well as the opportunity to view a recording after.
