Have a go at upcycling and make your own bag! In this workshop, Young V&A’s Holly Zarnecki will introduce how some fashion designers give new life to old materials through upcycling and show you some sewing ideas and tips. Then you will turn a piece of old clothing into a new bag to take home.

Booking information:
• This is a family workshop, where adults are required to participate alongside their children. Accompanying adults do not need to book tickets.
• We recommend the ratio to be at least one adult per three children. We are not able to accommodate more than one adult per group.
• This workshop is recommended for children aged 8+. We regret that we cannot allow younger siblings without tickets in the workshop room.
• Please let the V&A know if you have specific access requirements.
• If you are no longer able to attend, please kindly let the V&A know so we can release your places. Unfortunately, we are only able to offer refunds in exceptional circumstances.
• If the V&A needs to cancel the event due to an emergency, or for any reason beyond the control of the V&A, we will reschedule your booking for a later date or offer a refund.
