Join Design Baby: Identity and Expression for a sensory play session for children aged 0-3 and their guardians.

This session will explore themes inspired by the Thomas J Price Display and will include music and free play. You will be able to explore texture and textiles, experiment with musical instruments and much more! This event has been devised in collaboration with early years educator Jamel Carly Campbell.

Take the lead from your child to make a space to create in, play in, meet in, or just be in! The session will be child-led and non-structured to allow your child to explore the space and materials freely, at their own pace.

The 11:00 session is recommended for pre-walkers; the 13:00 is recommended for walkers under 3. Both sessions are designed to be enjoyable of all levels and abilities, so feel free to book any session that is more suited for your child/children.
Please click on 'download brochure' on the right-hand side if you'd like to find out more about Jamel Carly Campbell and Jessica Hylton.

Please ask any staff members for help or prompts to interact with the space! We welcome any parent or guardian who would like to bring their baby or toddler to the V&A.

This is as an opportunity to bond with your child and find out new ways of exploring and playing. This is a bespoke early year session for adults to do with children. No child can be left unattended. When booking the tickets, please make sure you book a ticket for each child and adult attending.

These tickets are in high demand, please book max 4 tickets per booking. Please double-check that you are available for an event before booking tickets, please cancel your ticket if you are unable to attend to allow another guardian to book to bring a child. If the V&A needs to cancel the event due to an emergency, or for any reason beyond the control of the V&A, we will reschedule your booking for a later date.
