To celebrate his new book, renowned gardener Tom Coward will describe his work at Gravetye Manor, where for the last 14 years he has been working to return the gardens to their former glory and recapture the vision of the original owner, one of the most famous garden designers of all time, William Robinson.   Designed in the late 19th Century and known as the one of the most influential gardens in England, Gravetye’s gardens under Robinson pioneered a new naturalist planting style which is still emulated today.  The talk will be illustrated with beautiful images from the book that highlight Coward’s successful restoration.
