Musician, artist and actor, Goldie will be in conversation with Jacqueline Springer, V&A Curator, Africa & Diaspora: Performance. 2023 marks the sixth National Album Day in the UK. The V&A is proud to welcome Wolverhampton-born musician, artist and actor Goldie to discuss his debut album, 1995’s, Timeless.

National Album Day at the V&A grants the opportunity of revisiting the emotional, social and sonic contexts of Goldie’s landmark recording; an album that embraced the broad terrains of breakbeat, rap, jungle, drum ‘n’ bass, soul and jazz and provided space for intimacy and self-reflection.
