Penelope Hines, Assistant Curator, Designs will be examining the 18th century furniture of Matthais Lock. Balancing skill and spectacle, Lock designed the fantastically Rococo and almost completely impractical ‘Cosway Sitters Chair’. This amongst other designs and furniture will be explored in this inspiring talk.
