Restored in 1912 by British architect Edwin Lutyens, Great Dixter was home to the revered and highly influential gardener and writer, Christopher Lloyd (1921–2006). Under the stewardship of Aaron and head gardener Fergus Garett, it remains a centre of horticultural creativity and craftsmanship around the world.
