Upstart at V&A Dundee – Mindful Making with Emma Gorrie

Experiment with the intuitive and playful design skill of mark-making through a workshop with Emma Gorrie, a recent textile graduate from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. Using found materials you will build tools that will create interesting and intriguing marks that will then be used in the design process. You will get a chance to play with inks and learn about making your own mark-making tools. You can use the workshop as an opportunity to meet people or ask questions about getting into the creative field. The drop-in workshop is a relaxed structure where anyone can come experiment with mark-making and learn about the design process.

This workshop is free and open to anyone age 14-25. All materials will be supplied.
