Explore exciting play adventures with our friendly team of Play Champions in our interactive galleries and on Town Sqaure. Activities change regularly, so please do check the dates below if you want to know what we have on before arriving.

Saturday 14th December:
Board Games: Town Square
Play Champions create a pop-up board game café inspired by ‘The Arcade’, where families can enjoy playing a variety of board games together. They will introduce you to new games and invite you to share your own ‘House Rules.’
These sessions happen monthly.

Saturday 21 December:
Design Challenges: Open Studio, Design Gallery
Learn how to create and design your own Zine (a small, self-published magazine) using themed, playful dice created by children for inspiration.

All our events are family activities, where adults are required to participate alongside their children.
This activity is part of Young V&A’s Power of Play programme. The Power of Play is a collaborative project to bring quality learning-through-play to children and young people in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The project is funded by the LEGO Foundation and coordinated by the LEGO Group in London. Young V&A is participating in the project alongside the Institute of Imagination, Save the Children and Easy Peasy.
