Join Andi Oliver, chef, broadcaster, and author in conversation with V&A Curator Jacqueline Springer for a hearty discussion about the political, racialised and cultural histories of food. Access, preparation of and presentation of food have geographic, racial, cultural and social origins. But food is also a highly political tool. Andi will explore – though the selection of key ingredients from around the world complemented by objects from the V&A’s collection - how history is literally digested by us all.
