V&A Book Group: Bel Canto

This month, the V&A Book Group will be discussing Ann Patchett’s ‘Bel Canto’ to coincide with the exhibition Opera: Passion, Power and Politics. In this book, a group of international delegates, including an opera singer and her biggest fan, are held hostage by terrorists. With no common language except music, they forge unexpected bonds.
