This taster lecture links to the 6-week online course 'The Knight in Art: 1066-1918'. The course is led by Dr Tobias Capwell with live lectures on Thursdays, starting on 11 January.
Angus Patterson is Senior Curator of Metalwork at the V&A. He is responsible for collections of European metalwork including silver, brass, pewter, cutlery, bronzes, steel, ironwork and arms and armour from 1450-1900. He is a lecturer, broadcaster and author whose publications include 'Fashion and Armour in Renaissance Europe'.
The range of lecturers was excellent. I only watch on demand as I work full time but like being able to break the course into smaller chunks to digest and rewind. It's so helpful to have on demand access on the same day and after the course ended. Previous V&A Academy Online Student
