Inspired by architect, artist, and activist Sofia Karim's Jameel Prize shortlisted Turbine Bagh project, this in-person workshop is an opportunity for young people to connect through sharing experiences, stories, and ideas while creating their own unique samosa packets.
//
This has been created to encourage and support young people aged 16-24 to connect through stories, and we would encourage you to bring younger siblings, cousins, or friends. This event is suitable for families, groups, and individuals.
//
The Jameel Prize is an international award for contemporary art and design inspired by Islamic tradition. Tapping into your own heritage, interests, or the V&A's extensive collections, you will hear from both Sofia and storyteller Vanessa Woolf, and fill your own samosa packet with your stories.
//
This free, workshop will run all day from 11:00am to 5:00pm. All materials will be provided, just drop-in to take part!

The Young People's Programme is supported by Fondation d’entreprise Hermès
