London Design Festival 2019
Later this year, BBC Cymru Wales staff will relocate to a new, state of the art broadcast centre in Central Square, Cardiff. Central Square will be the BBC’s most open and accessible building, and the first to have cognitive accessibility considered in its earliest design stages to ensure that it is thoroughly accessible for people with a range of neurodivergent conditions.
This panel will look at how a range of partners have worked to make Central Square an open, inclusive and creative space, for a new generation of broadcasting.
Panellists including:
• Alan Bainbridge (Director, BBC Workplace)
• Helen Berresford (Head of ID:SR Sheppard Robson)
• Jean Hewitt (Senior Inclusive Design Consultant, BuroHappold Engineering)
• Sean Gilroy (Head of Cognitive Design, BBC CAPE)
