Mamma Milano: Lessons from the Motherland (Vendome Press) is the first book from J.J. Martin, a Los Angeles-born editor turned entrepreneur and founder of Milanese lifestyle brand LaDoubleJ. Equal parts memoir, design journal, travel guide, and business-building blueprint, the book delves into J.J.’s initial resistance and ultimate surrender to the magic of Italy and the deepening of her spiritual practice that followed, unleashing creativity.
