Members' Tour: Saints - The Stars of the Middle Ages
Gain a deeper understanding of the V&A's permanent collections by uncovering the symbolism of medieval saints in this exclusive Members' tour.
Real or invented, saints were central to medieval life. Invested with supernatural powers, they were venerated as protectors of individuals, cities and countries. Join V&A guide Mireille Ellington in identify saints using their attributes of the likes of knives, wheels and swords - the objects which served as identity tags.
