Join curator Elisabeth Murray as she unboxes a pair of Vivienne Westwood platform heels worn by supermodel Naomi Campbell.
These mighty shoes were worn when Campbell famously fell on the runway whilst walking for Westwood in 1993. Determined and resilient, she remarkably carried on with the show, defiantly refusing to use the walking stick given to her for balance, and instead holding it at her waist.
Watch as Elisabeth carefully unboxes the heels and examines them inside and out, revealing the personal touches which make them no other than Naomi's, before telling us all about the history of platform shoes.
