About the exhibition
Emperor Jahangir was among the most famous and influencial rulers during the Golden Age of the Mughal Empire in India

The Great Mughals: Art, Architecture and Opulence

This Autumn, V&A South Kensington celebrates the extraordinary creativity and internationalist culture of the Golden Age of the Mughal Court (c.1560 – 1660) during the reigns of its most famous and influential emperors. This vibrant period saw the diverse traditions of Hindu and Muslim craftspeople in northern India combine with the practise of Iranian masters in the royal workshops, producing a radically new and exquisitely beautiful style of art and design.
