This captivating portrait was taken by eminent photographer Horst P. Horst for British Vogue in 1934. A master with light and atmosphere, here he sculpts a mood of understated glamour perfectly suited to the bold minimalism of Cartier's innovative "Diamants Mystérieux" – single diamonds mounted on clips to be worn in the hair, around the hairline, like kiss curls, or even on the eyebrow. Less is more.
A piece of couture design history and an enchanting Horst portrait, this exclusive edition is giclée printed on 305gsm Hahnemuhle paper and presented in a ribbon-tied folio with a certificate of authenticity.
Available for a limited time, to accompany the V&A Cartier exhibition.
