Florence Pugh is a British actor who has starred in blockbuster movies, working with Oscar winning directors and studios, such as Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Marvel’s Black Widow, Greta Gerwig’s Little Women and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune. As well as being a mega talented actor and singer, she’s known for her down to earth humour and love of Yorkshire Tea. She’s also got a 10/10 fashion sense and regularly showcases some iconic red carpet looks. Working with stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray, Florence isn’t afraid to showcase some daring, fabulous outfits – and we love the confidence and individuality of her style. Let’s check out 6 of the most iconic Florence Pugh red carpet looks!
Feather Fringe Fever
Ostrich feather fringe trim is having a BIG moment right now – turns out Florence was on it before it was cool. She wore this flowing feather-trimmed peach dress at the premiere of The Wonder back in 2022. The dress is designed by Valentino, a brand that Florence regularly wears. It’s flowing, it’s elegant, but it’s also very, very fun. Florence Pugh’s outfits are always ahead of the game! Can all of our outfits be feather lined please?!
Princes Irulan-core
For the Dune premiere in New York, Florence wore this flowing silver grey Valentino gown. Made from one long piece of silk fabric, it flows like water and looks exactly like something her Dune character Princes Irulan would wear in Dune. Elegant AND on theme.
Fierce feather vibe
Perhaps her most daring look – Florence wore this Valentino gown at the 2023 Met Gala, where the theme was in remembrance of Karl Lagerfield; the fashion designer who was famous for his signature black and white style. The dress had a long, cascading train and was accessorised by a towering, dramatic headpiece decorated with black feathers. It’s a bold look, giving a California Quail bird vibe with the headdress – but if anyone can pull it off, it’s Florence Pugh.
Balletcore
Worn at the British Independent Film Awards in 2022, this high drama, pink satin dress with a tulle cape is made by the designer Rodarte. It’s since been referred to as Balletcore – pirouette away Flo!
Mermaid Glam
It’s giving sea coral mermaid glamour and we’re here for it – Florence wore this orange Nina Ricci gown at the 2023 BAFTAs and it really embodies her individual style, that’s not afraid to go for old school Hollywood glam with a quirky twist. Teamed with a micro fringe; it’s a 10/10 edgy mermaid vibe and she makes it work.
Fierce in Fuscia
Another day, another pink cape. This one’s hot pink, ruffled and fabulous. Florence Pugh wears this pink dress to the red carpet, but can we wear this out to the shops, please?
