Soft robotics aim to mimic natural biological motion from the natural world such as an elephant trunk or an octopus tentacle. Differing from rigid structures that appear and move in mechanical ways, soft robots can appear more approachable and life-like. Using silicone and basic pneumatic (air-driven) techniques you will design, make and bring to life a menagerie of individual sculptures that you can take home.
