Let's go fly a kite!

Bring the family down to join in with the fun across the October holidays. Inspired by the colourful shapes and words in our community co-designed Play Plaza, we’ll create dazzling hand-printed kite designs together.

Our friendly team of designers will demonstrate different styles of hand-printed kites, helping you to twist, fold and engineer paper to construct a unique flying design. Take your kite home after testing it out on the plaza, urban beach and gardens!

This is a drop-in event inside the museum.
