We are Scotland’s design museum. Designed for everyone, firing imaginations and sparking curiosity in design across Scotland and around the world.

We offer accommodation for groups of all sizes, and can provide guided tours of the museum, or give your group the tools they need to navigate the museum by themselves.

Introductions for Self-guided groups

We now offer 15-minute introductions to pre-booked Self-Guided Groups. Includes quick introduction to the building’s architecture and orientational highlights i.e. galleries, Tatha, events/workshops on that day. Rates apply depending on group size.

Families

There is an unattended buggy park on the ground floor and baby changing facilities on Level 0 and Level 2. Breastfeeding is welcome anywhere around the museum.

Luggage

Lockers are available for up to one piece of standard-sized hand luggage. (£1 fee applies)

Coaches

Coach drop off and pick up is located immediately to the north of V&A Dundee on Riverside Esplanade. The drop off point is located approximately 60m from the main entrance and is marked with a bus stop box on the carriageway. The coach drop off is immediately to the west of the bus stop for local bus services (Riverside Esplanade at V&A Dundee). We don’t allow stays longer than 15 minutes outside the building as it is for drop off/pick ups only. There is coach parking at Greenmarket, near the Science Centre.
