Design for Planet

Galvanising the UK’s design community to address the climate emergency

To coincide with COP26 - the United Nations Climate Change Conference - and the #OneStepGreener national campaign, we’re welcoming the Design Council’s ‘Design for Planet’ festival to the museum.

Design for Planet is a landmark event aiming to galvanise the UK’s design industry towards commitment to a sustainable, climate-first future, as design has a fundamental role to play in getting to net zero and beyond. Illuminating keynotes, debates and expert panels, along with interactive workshops and masterclasses will aim to inspire the full spectrum of the UK’s design community and ignite action.

Join us to play your role in redesigning our lives, putting the planet’s wellbeing at the heart of every action.

Delivered in partnership between the Design Council and V&A Dundee, this hybrid festival will see sustainability and design specialists join us at the museum, with many hundreds more taking part online.
