Introduction to Draping

Get to grips with basic draping techniques and use this 3D method to creatively experiment.

Draping is a 3D method which fashion designers use to experiment with fabric and fit. Quick results and endless variations can be achieved by modelling directly on the mannequin to bring your garment ideas to life.

In this one-day taster workshop you will be introduced to basic draping preparation methods and techniques to create a pattern for a simple bodice top.

Suitable for beginners. All materials and equipment will be supplied.
