2018 V&A Illustration Awards: entry closing soon!

Word & Image
December 11, 2017

With one week to go before entry to the 2018 V&A Illustration Awards closes, here is the necessary info you need to submit your work:

Is your work eligible?

  • The published categories are open to illustrators resident in the UK, or that have published within the UK book and editorial market. For 2018, this includes self-published and crowd-sourced work made available for purchase through an online vendor distributing in the UK, i.e. Blurb or Lulu. Entries must be an original edition published in the year 2017.
  • The student category  is open to anyone 18 or over who has attended, or is attending, a course of study in the UK during 2016/17. Any students can enter the competition, you do not need to be studying Illustration specifically. Remember, there is only one entry allowed per student and the work must be unpublished.

How do you enter?

  • Entry is done online. Go to the V&A Illustration Awards 2018 homepage and then choose the category you want to enter under ‘Submit an entry’.
  • Create an account, and follow the link in the email. You can return to edit your entry by logging back in to your account.

Images

  • You can submit up to 3 images with your entry. Please check the T’s and C’s  to find what format is accepted.
  • If you want to provide a link to further images, you can.

Want to know more?

Remember, you have until 5pm on Monday 18th December 2017 to enter. Good Luck!
