This one-week intensive course provides a unique opportunity for museum professionals working in exhibitions development, planning and delivery to broaden and deepen their knowledge of how to produce world-class temporary exhibitions. Using recent V&A exhibitions as case studies, key members of V&A staff will offer insight into how to efficiently manage all aspects of an exhibition, from conceptualisation to design, installation to press, marketing and digital campaigns.
We are thrilled to be able to share our knowledge and insight in this field with many museum colleagues from around the world through this course. Dr Tristram Hunt, Director of the V&A
All teaching is delivered by expert programme managers from the V&A and includes both talks and hands-on workshops to suit different styles of learning. Joined by museum professionals from around the world, you will discover successful approaches developed at the V&A and at the institutions of fellow participants, providing you with insights that can immediately shape your own strategies.
This course is only open to museum professionals with responsibilities related to exhibition development, planning and/or delivery. Short Skype interviews will take place shortly after the application deadline of Sunday 1 December 2019.
